Holiday blues

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you are having a great morning so far! I can't believe that Christmas is right around the corner. It definitely doesn't feel like it. In Florida we are still in the 70's so its still warm and not Christmas like.

Anyways, Christmas is upon us and its time to get your holiday looks together. Whether its for New Years or Christmas this look is perfect for either holiday! Sometimes you only dress up a little bit for the holidays and this is that dressy comfortable look. I love having my jeans on so that I am comfortable but the top, hair, and makeup brings the look together and dresses it up! I got this top from Lulus! Last year I was going to buy this top and then I decided to wait and when I went back to buy it it was no longer there. So, this year when I saw it! I had to buy it! Take a look at the pictures and leave me comments below.

P.S. I have a makeup tutorial coming soon of this look!

Have a wonderful week!

XOXO,
Katelyn

Neutral, Pop of red, Birkenstock

TGIF! Its finally Friday and its memorial day weekend! Hope your Friday starting out great! Hope you have a wonderful weekend planned with friends and family or just take a day to relax for yourself!

I ordered this top from Lulu's! Love the clothing on that site! I will say this when I ordered it I didn't think that the shirt was going to be see-through but it is. Overall though I love the look of this top! I'm a big neutral girl and this top fits right in! Its super cute with a keyhole in the back! Then I just add my jeans and shoes and I'm set! I have been obsessed with this lip color lately!

The shoes! Okay, let me talk to you about the shoes! I wanted these shoes so bad at Christmas! It was the only thing I really wanted and hoped that Santa brought me! Sure enough I got the shoes! However, it was cold in December and January so I never had the chance to wear them right away! Then March came and I wore this outfit to Trivia! It was the first time I wore the shoes and the rhinestone had fallen out in the car! I live ten minutes from trivia! I thought you know maybe that one was loose but nope two have fallen out already! Also, one of the holders that holds the rhinestone decoration is coming undone as well! I don't wear these often enough for this to be happening so I wouldn't waste money on these! This is my personal experience with this product! Let me know if you have any cute alternatives to these shoes because I love the style and look just hate that the product isn't functional!

Hope you enjoy your memorial day weekend! I'm not sure that I will have a post for you on Monday because I'm moving Monday so if not that is why!

XOXO,
Katelyn

A tulle valentine's day

**Warning Overload of pictures**
I put like 30 and that was me editing! But I love this look!

Happy Friday!!! This week has been crazy so I am so happy it is finally Friday! I could throw a party! I'm ready to just have a fun weekend with family!

This year I wanted to create a great Valentine's day look for you all! I love flowers but haven't really gotten any besides roses so, I have been searching to see which flowers are my favorites! I like roses because well, roses are classic but I would not classify roses as my favorite flowers. I have always really like tulips and was on the search to find some for this valentines day look. (P.S. if you are looking for tulips Whole Foods has them!) I also really like peonies but for this look tulips went perfectly.

If there is one piece of clothing in my closet that is my favorite piece it would be this skirt. I just feel like a tulle skirt will never go out of a style. (Did style by Taylor Swift just pop into any ones head? "We never go out of style..") This skirt always gives me that Carrie Bradshaw/princess moment. And who doesn't love a princess moment?!

I love this skirt with a lace top and an earring to spice the look up. I tied the black shoes in with the head band which completed the look. P.S. this hair is the easiest hair to do and takes under ten minutes. I hope you have a great Valentine's day planned! I have a special bonus post coming tomorrow! So be sure to check back especially my single ladies! Have a great rest of your day! See you tomorrow!
