Happy Monday everyone! I hope you had a great holiday with friends and family. I had a wonderful time with my family and friends! I know some of you are heading back to work today but soon enough another holiday is upon us. Its that time to begin new years resolutions. What are yours going to be? Most people want to get fit! Is that on your list?

 I want to be healthier but that is not just a new year resolution. 

My main goal is just to be happy and content in the place that I am in my life. I honestly haven't been happy for a long time. I will admit that I can be that person who always finds something wrong. However, I'm learning that if i am going to completely trust God that means letting go of control which, for a control freak like me is really difficult to do. I might not be in the place I want to be just yet but he has a reason for having us in certain places in life. Maybe you were there to help someone else and also gain experience. Either way my goal is to CHOOSE happiness! I can't wait to see what 2016 has in store!

Plaid for the holiday!

Happy Monday everyone! I cannot believe that we are so close to Christmas! I am so excited to celebrate the holidays! I hope you are having a wonderful day with people you love.

 Since the holidays are coming up I decided to post a little holiday look for you. I love wearing this skirt each year. Last year I wore it with a black long sleeve top. I've worn it with a sequin top. There is so many ways to wear it. This year plaid is such a trend. I actually saw a post by The JPetite and it inspired me to do a similar look to hers. Holiday blues

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you are having a great morning so far! I can't believe that Christmas is right around the corner. It definitely doesn't feel like it. In Florida we are still in the 70's so its still warm and not Christmas like.

Anyways, Christmas is upon us and its time to get your holiday looks together. Whether its for New Years or Christmas this look is perfect for either holiday! Sometimes you only dress up a little bit for the holidays and this is that dressy comfortable look. I love having my jeans on so that I am comfortable but the top, hair, and makeup brings the look together and dresses it up! I got this top from Lulus! Last year I was going to buy this top and then I decided to wait and when I went back to buy it it was no longer there. So, this year when I saw it! I had to buy it! Tie dye tank

Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope you are having a great day! Its almost the weekend! Lately, I have been really into lazy clothes. Some days I just want to be comfortable but its hard when you need to look cute as well! I love this tank and its really comfortable! I couldn't find it on Targets website to link it for you but just go to the store because I bought this tank maybe two weeks ago. The tank is just so effortless and I love pairing a cute bra-let with it and just rocking that! I hope you have a great day today and I'll see you back here Friday!

TGIF! Its finally Friday and its memorial day weekend! Hope your Friday starting out great! Hope you have a wonderful weekend planned with friends and family or just take a day to relax for yourself!

I ordered this top from Lulu's! Love the clothing on that site! I will say this when I ordered it I didn't think that the shirt was going to be see-through but it is. Overall though I love the look of this top! I'm a big neutral girl and this top fits right in! Its super cute with a keyhole in the back! Then I just add my jeans and shoes and I'm set! I have been obsessed with this lip color lately! 

The shoes! Okay, let me talk to you about the shoes! I wanted these shoes so bad at Christmas! It was the only thing I really wanted and hoped that Santa brought me! Sure enough I got the shoes! However, it was cold in December and January so I never had the chance to wear them right away! Then March came and I wore this outfit to Trivia! It was the first time I wore the shoes and the rhinestone had fallen out in the car! I live ten minutes from trivia! I thought you know maybe that one was loose but nope two have fallen out already! Also, one of the holders that holds the rhinestone decoration is coming undone as well! I don't wear these often enough for this to be happening so I wouldn't waste money on these! This is my personal experience with this product! Let me know if you have any cute alternatives to these shoes because I love the style and look just hate that the product isn't functional!
